For the past 14 years, Cornerstone Church has had the opportunity to participate with the Angel Tree program of Prison Fellowship Ministry. This amazing program is set up to bless children whose parents are incarcerated. In that 14 years we have been able to bless nearly 400 children at Christmas time!

Starting Sunday, Nov 1st, we plan to have the Angel Tree in the hallway with names of children in need this Christmas. Visit the table, get your tag and bring your gift back to the church by the end of the month.

You will also have opportunities to help wrap presents on Dec 3rd or set up for the big party that is hosted here on Dec 5th where the family’s can receive their gifts.

Pack a shoebox with
Operation Christmas Child

For the past 15 years, we have encouraged the body of Cornerstone Church that they can be a blessing to kids overseas through the ministry of Operation Christmas Child with Samaritan’s Purse. Operation Christmas Child shares the love of Jesus by giving gifts through a simple shoebox during the Christmas season. Each child who receives a shoebox will go through ‘The Greatest Journey’ and be given the opportunity to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Your simple gift could change a child’s life forever!

You are invited to participate the following ways:

  1. You can pack a shoebox yourself. Bring one from home, or pick up one of the OCC boxes available at Cornerstone Church. You can find them at either of the East/West exits of the building. Fill your boxes with gifts (click here for ideas) and return them to Cornerstone no later than Sunday, November 15th, OR you can drop them off at either Changepoint or Mountain City Church during National Collection Week November 16th-23rd.   2. You can pack a shoebox online! Don’t really have time to go shopping and fill a box? Click below to engage that option!

Remember, if you are dropping your boxes at Cornerstone Church, get them back by November 15th. After that, they need to go to one of the official OCC drop-off locations.
