Our biblical philosophy of ministry

Discipleship / Making disciples, baptizing, and teaching them. (Matthew 28:19-20)

Proclamation of the Gospel / Unashamedly proclaim Jesus and the power of the Gospel message. (Romans 1:16-17 / 2 Timothy 4:2)

Multiethnic & Multicultural / Be a diverse representation of the family of God that demonstrates the love of God at work in the lives of His people. (Revelation 7:9)

Excellence in Worship / Give the Lord our best and worship Him because He is worthy to be glorified.  (Psalm 33:3 / Daniel 6:3)

Biblical Community / Be set apart as the bride of Christ and live out His Holy Word in all that we do. (Acts 17:11 / Hebrews 4:12)

Growth + discipleship at Northridge church

We see discipleship fleshed out through everyday rhythms of life.

Sunday Gatherings
/ Sunday gathering times play a crucial  role in the life of the church. These gatherings exist to proclaim Christ and participate in Gospel-centered community for the building up of the church body and the glory of God. Sunday gatherings will have the gospel truth preached, to help grow and disciple followers of Christ and give non-Christians the hope of Christ.

Community Groups / These missional communities are the primary way we connect with others as we live on mission (Acts 2:42). These are smaller groups of 10 to 20 people providing an opportunity to connect with God’s family. Through these relationships we live life together in everyday rhythms that show the world around us a true picture of God. Community Groups will meet regularly to eat, worship, learn and pray together, living out the Gospel in real and tangible ways.

Life Transformation Groups  (LTG’s) / These groups consist of three to four people (men with men & women with women) who meet regularly. These groups are designed to offer loving accountability where believers can be honest, pray for each other, grow together.

Daily Living / The context for community is in everyday life. This can include inviting others over to share a meal, texting a friend, sending an email, and being a presence in your neighborhood. Discipleship requires relationships, time, and intentionality.
