Angel Tree®, is a program of Prison Fellowship that reaches out to children of prisoners and their families with the love of Christ. This unique program gives you an opportunity to share God's love by helping to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the families of prisoners.
Each year Cornerstone Church receives between 25-30 names of children in our city who have a parent (or parents) who are incarcerated. With the help of the congregation we provide the children with Christmas presents and have a party for them and their families here at the church.
Here are a few different ways you can help serve these children:
- Purchase a Christmas gift on behalf of the incarcerated parent – visit the table in the sanctuary on Sunday, November 12th
- Help with wrapping gifts – Monday, December 11th from 6-8pm.
- Help with the Christmas party on Saturday, December 16th from 1:30-3pm. Set up begins at 11am.
- Provide transportation for families to the party
- Delivering gifts
If you are interested in helping or have more questions about this ministry, please email Lindsay Smith at Please RSVP for any of the events listed above. And visit the Angel Tree table in the sanctuary on Sunday, November 12th!
