The origin of Vespers comes from the Bible. The success of
the early church was dependent upon small group discipleship (Acts
2:42-46). We are simply implementing a proven model for successful
discipleship. The name Vespers derives from the Latin meaning, "a late
afternoon or evening religious service, usually a call to prayer."
Vespers provides the richest context for helping
individuals experience life transformations and for helping to develop a
deeper personal relationship with Jesus Christ and others while
connecting to the church by creating Biblical community. Jesus Christ
said, "And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can
be sure that I'll be there".
While on earth Jesus utilized small groups, first with the 12 disciples and then the more intimate group with Peter, James and John for accountability and meeting the needs of thousands.
We challenge and invite you to prayerfully and diligently consider this growth opportunity if you're a young single adult. We guarantee your life will never be the same!
